WHERE WE ARE

CalanteLuna Relais is located in Praiano, in the heart of the Amalfi Coast!

We are in the center of Vettica Maggiore (the town center), on Via Marconi and you can reach us on foot only, after taking Via Casa Cinque, a typical stairway that separates us from the main street, where you will also find a public parking area.

How to reach us:

From the center of Praiano:

having the Bar del Sole on your left, proceed towards Amalfi for about 100 meters until the Vettica Crossroads (Bivio di Vettica), where you will also find the main bus stop (stop n. 7);

Walk up Via Guglielmmo Marconi for about 300 meters;

on your left you will find a stairway (the second stairway after the Pizzeria Criscito), decorated with scraps of cobalt blue majolica tiles.

We advice against using own car, expecially from May to September

From Salerno and from the South you can take the Amalfi Coast drive in Vietri sul Mare and follow the state road n.163 you can get to Praiano. It’s a panoramic route with bendy roads.
From the North and Naples you can take the A3 Highway Napoli-Pompei-Salerno and exit at Castellammare di Stabia, then follow the state road n.145 towards Sorrento and then the state road 163 towards Positano-Amalfi. Praiano is the town right next to Positano.

Closest train stations: Napoli Centrale or Salerno Centrale

From Salerno Central station:
- We can organize a private car transfer (about 90 minutes)
- Take a Sita bus from Salerno to Amalfi and then a second bus from Amalfi to Praiano (about 2 hours and a half)
- Take a ferry from Salerno to Positano, then reach the Mulini Square and take a local bus to Praiano, bus stop n.13 (about 2 hours)
- Take a ferry from Salerno to Amalfi, then a Sita bus to Praiano, bus stop n.7 (about 2 hours)
From Naples Central station:
- We can organize a private car transfer (about 90 minutes)
- Take a local train (Circumvesuviana) from Naples to Sorrento and then a second bus from Sorrento to Praiano, bus stop n.7 (about 2 hours and a half)

The closest airport is Naples Capodichino (about 69 km)

- From the Naples airport you can take a Curreri bus to Sorrento and then a Sita bus to Praiano, bus stop n.7 (about 2 hours and a half)

Rome Airports (about 300 km):

- We can organize a private car transfer (about 3 hours)
- You can reach Naples or Salerno by train and then follow the train instructions above

From Salerno, Amalfi and Capri

You can either get to Positano or Amalfi

Positano

From the tourist port in Positano you need to reach the Mulini Square and take a local bus to Praiano, bus stop n.13

Amalfi

From Amalfi you can take a Sita bus to Praiano, bus stop n.7

Private Transfer

We highly recommend this service as it’s the easiest and most comfortable way to reach the Amalfi Coast. During the busiest months public transportation can be quite crowded and subject to delays.

We only use Mercedes cars with air conditioning and English-speaking drivers
